Ståle Bjørnstad is the CEO of Cxense, and responsible for driving the company towards its mission of understanding better than anyone what people want, and delivering the most relevant user experiences online.
Ståle has extensive experience from several financial institutions, such as Handelsbanken Capital Markets, where he most recently was Head of Corporate Finance, and Head of Equities prior to that. Ståle has also held key roles in DnB NOR Markets and Alfred Berg Norge.
Ståle has degrees from Norges Handelshøyskole (NHH), the Norwegian School of Economics, and Johannes Kepler Universität Linz in Austria, in international trade.

As the CFO, Jørgen Loeng is responsible for accounting, financial projections, performance measurement and improvements, as well as investor communication. Prior to Cxense, Jørgen was a partner at the management consulting and investment firm, Cardo Partners, where he lead a number of profit improvement programs, as well as strategy advisory and commercial due-diligence projects. He has also worked as a Corporate Finance associate in the Danske Bank Group where he worked with financial modeling, valuation , M&A and public listings.
Jørgen holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

As Chief Technology Officer, Aleksander Øhrn is in charge of the overall technological strategy for Cxense. His particular focus is on ensuring that the Extraordinary Insight Engine both enables unique user experiences and serves as a foundation for the ecosystems of our customers and partners.
Before joining Cxense, Aleksander worked for Microsoft’s Bing web search engine, particularly in the area of analytics, and was Chief Scientist for FAST, where he worked on search technology and computational linguistics.
Aleksander has a Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and holds a position as Adjunct Professor at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo, Norway.

Tom is the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Cxense, responsible for the strategic development of Cxense’s product portfolio, working closely with both the engineering and commercially-oriented teams. Prior to becoming CPO at Cxense, Tom was GM for Cxense North America after Cxense’s acquiston of the Ramp Media business where he served as CEO of Ramp.
Prior to Ramp, Tom has held roles including SVP/GM of the Consumer Division at NameMedia, senior vice president and general manager of MIVA Inc.’s North American division, responsible for both MIVA’s U.S. online advertising network as well as the company’s consumer business, and senior operating roles managing Terra Lycos’ global search & publishing divisions.
Tom has also served on the IAB Search Engine Committee and holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

As Chief Operating Officer, Vigleik leads the global sales team and the team responsible for getting our customers successfully onboarded to the Cxense platform. His organisation also provides Support and Best Practice consulting services to our customers across the world.
Before joining Cxense, Vigleik was Senior Manager in PwC Consulting leading the Supply Chain Management area which consisted of 15-20 consultants. He has extensive experience, and a proven track record within lean transformations and operational improvements for various companies.
Vigleik holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Camilla G. Moen is head of Human Resources at Cxense globally. In her role she provides leadership and coordination of all of the company‘s Human Resource functions. Prior to taking on this role, Camilla held key positions in marketing and sales operations at Cxense after joining the company in 2010. Camilla also serves as the Board Secretary to the Cxense BoD.
Prior to joining Cxense, Camilla was with Fast Search & Transfer (FAST) for ten years, and worked at Microsoft after FAST was acquired by the company in 2008.
Camilla has a BA in International Relations and Communications from Clark University in Massachusetts, and a MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics (LSE).

As Chief Business Development Officer, John T. Sviland is responsible for Business Development and sales driven innovation in Cxense. He is responsible for growing the company’s global customer base focusing on new verticals and use cases, as well as creating life-time customers.
Before Cxense, John was Senior Vice President at FAST, driving the media, entertainment, retail and communications sector, and subsequently Director Communication Sector at Microsoft. He has two decades of experience in technology sales and business development working in the media, search, VOIP/telecom, networking and broadcasting fields.
John holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah.

Dan Gesser is Senior Vice President of Sales for Cxense in North America.
Prior to joining Cxense, Dan was the North America Sales Leader for Customer Analytics at IBM. Dan joined IBM with the 2013 acquisition of the mobile customer engagement start-up, Xtify. He built and led the sales organization for Xtify and was responsible for new customer engagements, working closely with the C-Suite of companies from Coca-Cola to the U.S. Federal Government.
Dan is an experienced and innovative digital marketer with a proven track record of building engagement and ROI in B2B and B2C environments.
Anne Roland works as General Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in Cxense. In her role she oversees business development and customer success in those markets, enabling partners and customers to grow and succeed using Cxense technology and services.
Prior to Cxense Anne has had several leadership roles in the SaaS industry. She came to Cxense from Meltwater Group where she strategically helped develop the company into a significant, global SaaS player within media intelligence, with more than 1000 employees. Anne held various positions during her time at Meltwater Group and most recently as Area Director for Customer Success.
Anne holds a Masters of Science degree in business from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

As Senior Vice President, Business Development, and GM Japan, Ryoichi Egawa leads Cxense Japan. He is charged with building the company into the leading provider of online cloud-based monetization services in the market.
Before joining Cxense, Egawa had more than 10 years of experience in leadership roles in the software industry. Most recently, Egawa was Director of Sales at FAST and, subsequently, in the Digital Marketing Platform Group at Microsoft. Before this he served as Sales Director in Autonomy and Field Alliance Manager in IBM Japan. Egawa also has experience in IT consulting at Oracle.
Egawa holds a Master’s degree in Information Science and Education from Shiga University.

Tore Frihagen is EVP Strategic Alliances, and responsible for growing our partners globally.
Before Cxense, Tore was Vice President for EMEA at FAST, and Senior Director for Channel Sales in Microsoft. He has extensive international experience in business development and sales, working with both industry leaders such as Oracle and Microsoft as well as several successful start-up companies over the last 20 years.

Gabriel D'Onofrio works as General Manager (GM) for Cxense Latin America. In his role he oversees sales, business development and customer success in the Latin American market, enabling customers and partners to grow and succeed using Cxense technology and services. Prior to Cxense, Gabriel has held several leadership roles in the technology and online industry for over 20 years.
Gabriel holds a Master in IT and Telecommunication Business in UCA (Catholic University of Argentina) as well he had a PMD (Program for Management Development) in ESADE, Spain. He also holds a Bachelor in Marketing and a Bachelor in Advertising.

Rolf Michelsen is the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Engineering at Cxense Norway, and leads the engineering teams there. Rolf's focus is primarily on combining stable and sustainable operation of our services with rapid development of these services.
Rolf has worked on large-scale web information services for 20 years, starting with building the then largest and freshest web search engine launched in 1999 by FAST. He has experience both from startups and large enterprises, having served as a manager for Microsoft Bing and Microsoft Office and for Telenor, the leading telco in Norway.
Rolf holds a MSc degree in electrical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
Igor works as General Manager for Russia in Cxense. He leads Cxense's largest development office and in his role oversees business and software development of Cxense’s product portfolio, making sure that both solutions and services are delivered with best possible quality.
He joined Cxense upon its acquisition of Maxifier, where Igor was Founder and CTO, developing world-class optimization software for online advertising and leading technology and business development activities. Among his clients were top-notch publishers and media companies, including Orange, Forbes, Rakuten, Guardian and many others.
Igor has a Dr. of Science degree in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) and the author of more than 100 papers in field of data mining, multi-agent technology, knowledge management, text understanding and business development, holds several patents and inventors certificates
Simon works as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Engineering at Cxense Russia and leads several Engineering teams. Before Cxense’s acquisition of Maxifier, Volman served as VP of Engineering at Maxifier responsible for technical leadership, product roadmap and development.
Prior to Maxifier Simon Volman was associated with Magenta Technology, where he built and launched more than ten technical projects in various problem domains.
Simon holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Samara State Aerospace University and is the author of more than 20 articles on an array of technical topics, including knowledge management, business intelligence and data mining.
Sekino heads up Cxense Onboarding & Professional Services (OPS) in Japan, delivering onboarding and consulting services for our customers in Japan.
Prior to joining Cxense, Sekino has held Services and PM roles for companies such as the IT security and data protection company, Sophos, as well as Fast Search & Transfer (FAST), where he lead a team of six delivering projects for large enterprise customers.
Sekino has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Keio University, Japan’s first modern institution of higher learning founded in 1858.
