After Work Session in London: Don't stop the press! Is this the last writes for quality journalism?

12 Jun 2019 | By Tobias Arns

There has been a sea of change in the media industry, and according to recent research by Cxense, journalists are worried about the future, with concerns around decline in quality, reader reluctance to pay for content and fake news. Meanwhile, publishers are betting big on digital subscriptions to compensate declining ad revenues allowing them to become more independent from global platforms. But, what impact does this have on journalists, and how do they feel about the future of their profession and industry?

Join us for an evening of drinks and canapés to discuss the findings of Cxense’s latest research project, featuring insight from 150 journalists who told us how they feel about the future of journalism, and the role of data and technology. This will be followed by a panel discussion featuring leading journalists and commercial directors to discuss their views on the threats to journalism, and what we can do to protect the future of the free press.
