Cxense to present subscription growth strategies to leading publishers in New York

The Information's Media Business Bootcamp, organized by The Information, is back on September 13 this year with a focus on subscriber loyalty and post-paywall marketing as well as shifting the balance of power with the platforms. The bootcamp is for publishing entrepreneurs, newsroom executives, and other high-level media professionals. Naturally, when we were asked to support the event, we thought it was a perfect fit.

The event will start with an overview of the latest trends and topics in media, presented by Jessica Lessin, Founder and CEO of The Information. Brandon Erlacher, a Strategy Consultant at Cxense and former editor and publisher with over 20 years of experience from the industry, will present best practices around subscription growth, reader revenue, churn prevention, as well as case studies from our work with The Wall Street Journal and Sandusky Newspaper Group among others. 

Brandon will talk about the strategy and technology that enabled The Wall Street Journal and other publishers across the globe to prove the value of their journalism to more potential subscribers and increase conversions significantly. 

Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss subscription and retention strategies with Nicholas Thompson, Editor-in-chief of WIRED, Shaun King, Founder and CEO of The North Star, and Jon Steinberg, President of News of Altice USA & Founder/CEO of Cheddar.
