We are excited that Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), one of the largest and most prolific media organizations in Asia, will deploy Conversion Engine, Cxense's new machine-learning powered solution for dynamic paywalls and personalised customer journeys, across its media platforms to increase subscription revenues. The partnership with SPH is one of Cxense’s biggest contracts in Asia to date.
SPH is home to some of Asia’s most influential and well-known publications, including its flagship newspapers, The Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao. SPH digital runs the online editions of The Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao, The Business Times, Berita Harian, Stomp, AsiaOne and the Singapore and Malaysia versions of Business Insider. Together, SPH Digital’s properties reach 23 million unique users and generate 360 million page views monthly.
Lately, SPH has been focusing on increasing digital reader revenues as a sustainable recurring income stream. With the help of Conversion Engine, the media company wants to grow subscription revenues by creating personalised customer journeys and enabling dynamic paywalls across their online platforms.
“In today’s world, a one-size-fits-all solution is no longer appropriate for any successful digital product. Being able to personalise our users’ experiences will allow us to make the best use of SPH’s wealth of content and ensure that our readers get the news that matter most to them. We welcome this partnership with Cxense and look forward to leveraging their expertise to create better user journeys for our customers, ” said Anthony Tan, Deputy CEO of SPH about the cooperation with Cxense.
