The countdown to this years Digital Media Strategies (DMS) in London form March 9-11, has begun, and Team Cxense is excited! Not only are we attending, but we are hosting a round table discussion on the importance of DMPs and what to look for when selecting one. Our customer Mediagene (with over 20,000,000 unique monthly readers and 145,000,000 monthly page views (!)), is coming in all the way from Tokyo to share their success story with using data to engage their audience and increase revenues.

DMS will bring together a global audience of CEOs and senior leaders from news, magazine, broadcast, B2B, STM and digital pureplay media businesses, and is comprised of three days of case studies, analysis, workshops, training, and round table discussions, focusing on key strategic challenges behind developing a profitable and sustainable media business in a digital world.

DMS Roundtable: Do you DMP?

Don’t miss the Cxense round table discussion about DMPs – it’s not just another ad-tech acronym as Cxense’s Petteri Vainikka said in his interview with The MediaBriefing. Vainikka is a digital veteran, he was a co-founder of the Finnish game company Rovio (Angry Birds anyone?), and has also held global business development and management team positions at Enreach, Sumea, and Leiki, will lead the discussion.

DMPs have developed into a critical hub for digital publishing, and the Cxense round table discussion on March 10th at 12.10-1.00pm, will look at how DMPs differ, and how media companies can get the most out of a DMP.

One example is the B2B publisher Sift Media who just went live with their own publishing platform created to give their audiences real value and an amazing user experience regardless of device. On the final day of DMS, March 11th, we are proud to welcome the CEO of Japan’s Mediagene, Motoko Imada, to the stage at 3.10pm. Imada-san will present how Mediagene are using data to transform their media business, which is comprised of eight leading portals in Japan including the gadget guide Gizmodo, which alone has over 69,000,000 monthly page views, of which 60% is on mobile, and over 7,400,000 unique users. Imada-san will discuss the importance of understanding your audience, and how to use data to drive better user engagement with a DMP, and maximise the impact of advanced targeting, native advertising, and content marketing.
